It’s something rarely experienced in the UK, but in the Alps you & the family will be able to enjoy a white Christmas! There is so much going on in the alps during the festive period for skiers/snowboarders, families, teenagers, children and non skiers/snowboarders alike! Our friends at Treeline Chalets are in Morzine where you can visit the newly renovated indoor pool complex and treat yourself to a Hammam, take the kids for a spin around the indoor ice rink, or let the dogs do the work on a husky sleigh ride. For the adrenalin junkies there’s nothing like the view of the town and surrounding peaks from a Parapente ride!
Meet Santa in Morzine!
Santa comes to town!
On Christmas day you can take the kids to meet Santa Claus in the town square! Each year the celebrations get bigger and better, with the Tourist Office hosting a parade, which last year had characters from the world of Morzna, flame throwers, a huge Christmas tree and torch lit descents, plus there’s always a vin chaud on offer to keep the adults entertained too. Fireworks displays are frequent throughout the week too!
